Interpretation
Key Result: Multiple size classes, including mature and some young-of-year fish were captured in all three years, an indication that conditions in the Ovens River are supporting the survival of this species throughout its lifecycle. In 2019, many young-of-year fish (< 10 cm) were detected compared to previous years.
Stocking: No Trout cod stocking has occurred in the Ovens River system since January 2006.
